• What is an art print?

  • A reproduction of the artist’s original work, printed on textured matte fine art paper with archival pigment inks. Archival ink is more resistant to fading than other dye-based inks. The combination of pigments and premium paper quality constitute a print as “archival.” Archival ink prints offer greater scratch resistance and color stability as well. I produce all my prints from my home art studio using an Epson fine art and photography ink jet printer.

Mini-prints are made using the same high-quality textured matte fine art paper, but instead of backer board they come with a Kraft envelope and plantable seed paper to write a personal note to a friend or loved one. They are a great alternative to cards, in hope the mini-print is framed and kept long-term instead of thrown away, and the personal note can then be planted to bloom a variety of flowers. Just put in a pot or in your garden covering with 1/8” of soil, keeping the soil moist. Seeds include 10 annual perennial species which tolerate partial shade, need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight and grow to about 3’. Seeds include Snapdragon, Petunia, Beardtongue, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Catchfly, Maiden Pinks, Primrose, and Chamomile.
