I’m Hannah Schultz…

I am owner, artist, and all things behind Magpie Studio, where it is my goal to build community and honor passed loved ones by carrying-on family traditions around creating art together. Having grown up in Montana, the name Magpie Studio is a nod to my childhood in which my grandma exposed me to endless arts and crafts while watching magpies visit the yard. My hope is to spark feelings of joy, comfort, and togetherness through watercolor paintings, pottery, and surface pattern-designs that form colorful home decor collections. I enjoy displaying my work as tea party tablescapes at my watercolor workshops, where I continue the family tradition of bringing people together and inviting self-expression through handmade goods.

When not in my studio I enjoy Pacific Northwest adventures with my partner and pup, snuggling with our animal family, tackling house projects, board games, puzzles, and being active through various outlets - running, calisthenics, strength training, you name it, I probably love it!
