The inside is made with a speckled clay, while the outer edge is not, which gives it the speckled look only on the inside when glazed. A uniquely handmade piece, great for holding smaller items like jewelry or office/art supplies. It is also food safe if you'd like to use it as a fun serving dish for various dips!
